Juice fasting is a great way to cleanse your system and is a wonderful way to revitalize your body. Juice fasting consists of not eating solid food for 3, 5,7,10 or even days in a row. I want to start with a 3-day juice fast for those of you who have never done juice fast. Juice fasting has been shown to cure disease, colon cleanse, heal muscle pain, cure back problems, and make the human body heal itself. It was actually prescribed before modern medicine. Why do you think we drink so many liquids and avoid solid foods when we are sick? This allows our body to use energy normally used for digestion to concentrate on healing the body that needs healing. A juice fast does the same thing. Now it is not as easy to go out and buy the juice at the store and just drink it. Juices purchased at your local grocery store are processed and usually from concentrate. This means they contain many of the toxins that will not help the body. You will need to buy fresh fruits and vegetables to be juiced. You do not need to have a juicer, but it is definitely a useful tool. The first juice fast once I did I just use a blender because I did not have enough extra money to buy a juicer. This works, but I will never give up my juicer today. While doing the juice fast is very important to get the nutrients you need into your body. This is very unhealthy if you do not. You'll want to get the following things before you try the juice fast: 1. A juicer or blender 2. A good food vitamin supplements whole (I recommend Vitamin World's Largest) 3. Many green vegetables 4. Many fresh fruits 5. List of recipes juice (can be found online just do a search) 6. Many springs 7. Much power will these things important to your success. You will want to avoid the usual multi-vitamin as a supplement to you because they are not made from whole foods and contains most of the things that do not support the body. I recommend Greatest Vitamin in the World. This is a very complete overall vitamin and not very expensive for what you get. Some side effects that you experience at the beginning of your juice fast are: headache, diarrhea, hunger pains, dizziness a little, and fatigue. It will pass. You should take the time to sleep in the daytime hours and be sure to get regular sleep at night. The first days and the second is the most difficult, but once you get to the third day you will begin to experience a burst of energy and great sense of refreshment. If you get too hungry to where you think you might give up eating a small piece of fruit, and be sure to chew very well. This will cure your craving for food and will not take too much of your fast. Make sure that when you break you You do not go out and just eat a big greasy meal. Rest slowly for two days and start working your body back to solid foods. Continue to drink your daily juice, but add in some fruits and vegetables along with whole wheat or spinach pasta with fresh vegetables cooked in extra virgin olive oil. This will allow your body to adjust slowly. Be sure to chew very well so your digestive system can handle. Juice fasting is a very safe way to transform your health and begin to change bad eating
